This is the true story of one woman's miraculous,
mystifying decorating journey -
from vintage, shabby and floral to CABIN STLE.
And how she learned to LOVE it!
 
Once upon a time, there was a young woman who began to very happily create a cozy home filled with vintage, floral, shabby loveliness, or as her dear husband preferred to call it - "the decaying cottage style".
 
Fast forward many years, and she had really achieved quite a remarkable level of "cottage decay". And then the unimaginable happened.

She and her dear husband moved.
Into a log cabin. 
As in - a GIANT MAN CAVE.
 
My name is Cynthia Wall,
and this is my "decorating testimony"...

Ten years ago, we moved into an incredible log cabin. It took a little while, but I eventually fell in love with our home, and now I can't imagine living anywhere else. There was just one BIG problem.

I needed to find a way to create "cabin style" on a budget, and mix in some of those beloved vintage pieces and our favorite Bible verses.
It was truly a fresh start.

One very fun solution to my interior design dilemma has been designing my own home decor products! It's basically "Cabin Style + Faith", and many of these pieces are for sale on my SHOP page and also in my Spoonflower shop.

I'll be adding many more home decor products to my SHOP starting in early 2025, and easy, budget-friendly projects and design ideas will be finding their way onto my blog as well.
